We had an exciting, yet wet, trip to Stonehenge. We could see this amazing site from the road but as we approached we were filled with even greater wonder. In addition, we explored a number of Bronze Age tools and took a look inside a Stone Age house. Although the rain put a damper on our day, we thoroughly enjoyed our end of topic trip.
Year 3 celebrating World Book Day!
'During Term 3 we learnt about the Ancient Egyptians. We began by looking how far back in his this was compared to the other periods in history we already know. We also had great fun mummifying a fish and had the chance to see real mummies at Bristol Museum! In Term 4 we are going to be looking at the Stone Age which was happened before and at the same time as the Ancient Egyptians. We will be able to compare these two interesting periods in history.'
This term Year 3 are investigating forces and magnets. We carried out an experiment into how different surfaces effect friction.
